This clip shows an uprovoked attack by officers of the Greater Manchester Police on a decorated soldier, Mark Aspinall, who was home after recent service in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Mr Aspinall was convicted by magistrates of two counts of police assault. But he appealed and Crown Court judge John Phipps quashed the verdict after watching the CCTV footage.
He said: "I am shocked and appalled at the level of police violence shown here", adding that he had "great concerns".
He also said the statements given by the officers contained some "untruths."
