The Governor of New York State has been caught up in a US Federal Government investigation into international prostitution. He has become known as Client 9.
It has just been announced that he has resigned. Prior to his election to the post of Governor, he was the state Attorney-General, where he attracted the title of the Sheriff of Wall Street.
His resignation paves the way for his deputy to become the 1st legally blind and black Governor of New York State.
