It has long since been not particulary "PC" to enjoy reading the latest Jeffrey Archer......sort of regarded as a bit low brow.........he's not an Amis or a McEwan........but he is a great read. His books are just about perfect in the entertainment sense, complete page turners, something which you just can't put down to you reach the end...........
Lord Archer is a Life Peer , which entitles him to sit in the House of Lords. He is a former candidate for Mayor of London, Chairman of the Conservative party and convicted perjurer.
There is just something about Archer which I can't explain, but I just sorta like him. It really surprises me, but its true.
Buy his books, enjoy his stories....
