Russell Brand is a wonderful talent, he is funny, irreverant and intelligent.
A lapse of judgement has resulted in his resignation from Radio 2.
On 16 Oct along with Jonathan Ross, recorded telephone messages on the answerphone of TV legend, Andrew Sachs....the messages detailed how Brand had F***ed Sachs granddaughter...the resulting scandal has seen Brand resign, Ross suspended without pay and the Controller of Radio 2 resign...
What a mess....now the show was pre-recorded so the question remains...how did this pass editorial control?
It is unfair to pass the buck back to the young producer but I think the BBC needs to lick its wounds and move on...
