brrr...Winter weather is harsh...so very harsh

For the 2nd time in a fortnight we have received an unseasonal amount of snow. The latest deluge has been about 12 inches / 30cms in just a few hours.

It is making even the simplest journey a nightmare, with the roads frozen, car tyre grip is non-existent. The constant fear of skiding out of control has most drivers taking this slowly, there are exceptions who drive as if the roads are clear, the skies blue and the month June.

I am finishing work on Thursday until Tuesday 4 Jan, which is the longest I have been off during the Christmas period since 1992.

Sorry for the lack of blogging. Its simply laziness.
